This project is a re-evaluation of time and storytelling to experience hybridity and no-linearity in an audio-visual and creative context.

This audio-visual project explores the world of fragments, hybridity and non-linear stories. Using a collection of scenes placed in a different order accompanied by a composed sequence of sounds and music, a film births. A film you only see once and a film that no-one would experience the same. This film is Hybrid Time: An Underground Experience.
The underground represents a fertile landscape from which new meaning and new narratives may arise from. The underground is simultaneously a birthing place and a grave. It is where death and re-birth take place; it is where time abides by no linear rules; it is where hybrids embody the closest to what truth is.

“To understand light you need first to have been buried in the deep-down dark.” (Robert MacFarlane, Underlands)
