Laila Saber Rodriguez is an Egyptian & Mexican creative director & artist currently based between Barcelona & The Netherlands.
Sensorial experiences; narrative; multi-species symbosis; and critical speculation are at the core of Laila’s practice. Her portfolio ranges from film, direction, research and pedagogy. Throughout the years, she has built an explorative practice that weaves connections through the intersections of disiplines, ideas, dreams, and myths.

The poetry within her visuals and concepts drive the audiences’ senses to ask questions rather than answer any questions.
At the heart of narrative is experience and at the heart of experience is pluralism & multiplicity.
Laila is also part of the collective duo Cruda, with Andrea Galano Toro, who together explore hybridity and animism through workshops, performance, and lectures.
